The Downtown Monroe Business Network (DMBN) is an organization of over 50 member businesses, organizations, and individuals dedicated to the success and continuing improvement of historic Downtown Monroe. It’s mission is to establish a voice for the downtown business establishments and to promote, revitalize, and encourage growth of Downtown Monroe through active participation of the membership. The DMBN acts as an advocate for their members regarding issues that impact their businesses and downtown. Membership shall be open to any person who owns or is employed by an organization which conducts business and is located within or adjacent to Downtown Monroe. There is a nominal membership fee. Meetings shall be conducted on an informal basis with group consensus as the basic Rule of the House. When necessary, however, the meeting Chairperson reserves the right to invoke Robert’s Rules of Order for voting purposes.
